Rada Dukaji

Dr. Uche Umejei

Dr. Uche Umejei is a dual Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner. She has vast experience with Military Veterans in Residential Substance Abuse and Mental Health. Dr. Umejei is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with experience of over 20 years.

She has experience in taking care of a variety of mental health disorders including ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), anxiety, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She approaches her care with compassion, and she has exhibits strong communication skills. Dr. Umejei received her nursing practice doctorate degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and her PMHNP from University of New Hampshire. She completed her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Hampton University.

She holds numerous certifications including American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental health nurse practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently licensed in Virginia.

Dr. Ify Nzenwa

I’m Dr. Nzenwa, MD, a primary care physician passionate about the powerful connection between mental and physical health. I completed my three-year residency in Family Medicine and went on to serve as an attending physician at Emory Primary Care, where I honed my expertise in holistic, patient-centered care. My approach goes beyond treating symptoms. I address both emotional and metabolic factors to help patients achieve sustainable, long-term wellness. Specializing in weight management, mental health, and nutritional therapy, I empower individuals to take charge of their health with confidence and balance. True wellness is about resilience, strength, and thriving from the inside out, and I’m dedicated to guiding my patients on that journey.

Rachel Denison

Rachel Denison is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

Rachel’s philosophy is grounded in compassion, dignity, and evidence-based care. She takes a holistic, trauma-informed, patient-centered approach and partners with individuals and families to set goals, make shared decisions, and build skills that support long-term mental wellness. She is committed to reducing stigma, improving access to care, and creating a welcoming space where people feel heard, safe, and supported.

Rada Dukaji

Chika Ogbolu

Chika Ogbolu is a Double Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is known for her excellent communication skills and attention to detail. At Waterside Psychiatry, Chika provides compassionate mental health care for adolescents and adults in and around Hampton Roads, Virginia. She takes an empathetic and scientific approach to address various acute and chronic mental health conditions, all while advocating for high-quality patient care.

Chika offers diagnostic screening services for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) through an online telehealth platform. She has extensive experience managing the behavioral and learning challenges common with attention deficit disorder (ADD) and autism in adolescents and adults. Chika is also available to perform gene testing to new and returning patients. 

Chika earned her Master of Science in Nursing and completed the Family Nurse Practitioners program at George Washington University School of Nursing in Washington, DC. She went on to become a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

While in school, Chika was a member of the Phi Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She also remains an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).

In addition to her extensive experience as a registered nurse in trauma and critical care settings, Chika has dedicated her time volunteering to underserved communities. She spent time among the Navajo population providing health education and also served in a hypertension and diabetes medical clinic in Ubulu Okiti, Nigeria.
